Rey Colon is responsible for the visual and creative aspects of company initiatives, from software user interfaces to branding and collateral. Colon is a seasoned online marketing entrepreneur with more than 15 years of proven success in building successful online ventures through marketing, sales and business development. After serving in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm, Colon relocated from his New Jersey hometown, to seek out greater opportunities in South Florida.
During the Internet boom of the mid 90's, Colon launched and help build several internet and technology companies beginning with NoDebt.org, an online financial services directory, which matches consumers with financial professionals across the nation. In addition Rey also founded IAM Direct, Inc. a national online advertising agency that specializes in generating highly qualified leads, growing online sales channels, increasing conversion rates, reducing new customer acquisition costs, and ensuring the highest possible return on investment (ROI) through custom tailored search marketing and social media campaigns.
Colon was also Director of Online Marketing Operations at Netel, Inc., a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) provider. There, Colon led the development and deployment of its proprietary VoIP platform voip.net and also oversaw the development of Netel's agent and reseller program, which managed over 12,000 independent agents worldwide growing revenue from $4 million to an excess of $21 million dollars annually.
Mr. Thompson has twenty-three years of experience as a practicing attorney in Texas with a primary focus on insurance and health law. His chief responsibility aside from regulatory compliance has been to design, develop and manage the contractual and working relationships with our vendors, service suppliers and sales distribution systems. Concomitantly, Mr. Thompson has been tremendously involved in strategic planning, product and client development, contract negotiation, sales and marketing. He received a B.B.A. in Business Management from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
Prior to joining AmeriDoc, Mr. Thompson was General Counsel for Pan-American Benefits Solutions, Inc. , a Pan-American Life Insurance Group company, and a designer, wholesale marketer and administrator of group health insurance products, sold through a national distribution of independent brokers in 43 states.
Mr. Thompson has served both the private and public sectors in a variety of leadership and managerial roles. As Deputy General Counsel to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, he had chief responsibility for all litigation matters; and was a member of the Executive Committee, Tax Policy Committee, Texas Advisory Group, Multi-State Tax Association, and was a speaker on behalf of the State of Texas at national association conferences.
He also served as Managing Attorney for The Home Insurance Company where he was responsible for Texas-based litigation, providing a defense for individuals and corporations sued in products liability, premises liability, and legal malpractice cases. Prior to working for The Home, Mr. Thompson gained a vast amount of litigation experience working for private law firms representing a multitude of insurance carriers, in both first and third party matters, with a concentration in the area of defending legal and medical malpractice cases, representing attorneys, doctors and hospitals.
Stefanie has over 10 years of experience in the medical field working as a nurse and laboratory supervisor. She has worked in many clinical areas such as pediatrics, family practice and urgent care. Stefanie attended Northeast Texas Community College and Williams Career College from 1999 to 2001.
Prior to working with the AmeriDoc management team Stefanie helped reconstruct a family practice/urgent care center. Stefanie helped organize the implementation of electronic medical records, digital x-ray’s and an array of new laboratory testing to the clinic. Stefanie also created the protocols for new procedures being performed in house such as a colonoscopy, gastroscopy and sonograms. Within 3 years, the clinic had doubled their daily patient consultations and tremendously improved the patient’s quality of care.
Stefanie joined the AmeriDoc team as the Director of Network Management in July of 2010. She is responsible for all physician recruitment and oversees all operations within the network. Stefanie has successfully recruited many physicians who are now in leadership roles within the company. Each day Stefanie works one on one with the patients and physicians to insure the best experience possible for our members.
Dr. Emran is a licensed physician in Wisconsin and Texas, with additional states licences pending. While he is Board Certified in Family Medicine, he now focuses on Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and Urgent Care. He has delivered more than 250 babies and assisted on dozens of c-sections, appendectomies, and other surgical procedures. As a senior resident, he supervised 15 residents and 5 medical students on various hospital and clinic rotations.
His main responsibilities include daily real-time telephone and email consulting with new and established patients. He also guides patients and administrative staff on safe prescription medications and over-the-counter treatment options in individual cases. He participates in joint teleconferences with senior members of large health care organizations to help generate new patient enrollment. He reviews ideas from patients and clients about additional services that would be appropriate for the nationwide AmeriDoc network.As a graduate of Marquette University, he studied courses in bioethics, pre-medicine, and legal affairs. After graduating from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles, he completed his residency at Aurora St Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Prior to joining AmeriDoc, Dr Emran had worked with large health networks including Aurora Health Care, HCA-Kingwood Medical Center, Concentra, and EmCare. He has been the medical director of several private clinics in the Houston area and performs chart reviews with the Texas Medical Foundation Health Quality Institute.Position 3
