David E. Lindsey, President and Chief Executive Officer

David Lindsey has a passion and gift for growing companies.  In 1982, he graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington and began a career in healthcare with American Fidelity Assurance.  David Lindsey is one of the leading experts in designing and implementing Limited Medical Health Care Programs in the US.

In 1994, David formed a company called United Specialty Benefits that designed and sold unique low cost health care programs to the uninsured market. In 2000, United Specialty Benefits changed its name to USNow as it now had grown into a National provider of limited medical plans in 48 states.

He recently sold USNow to Pan-American Life Insurance Company in July of 2009. USNow, when sold, was the third largest Limited Medical provider in the nation with over $80,000,000 in annualized premium. He has written articles in over 20 publications for major insurance magazines and online resources.

In 2008, David started a national telemedicine and telehealth company called AmeriDoc  (www.ameridoc.com). With AmeriDoc, David is working with national Health Insurance Carriers and TPA’s to deliver a true cost savings feature to their clients. AmeriDoc is currently investing in state-of-the-art technology, priority doctor network and 24-hour administrative platform.  AmeriDoc is leading the marketplace to be first to utilize their new video consultation platform that will service millions of clients nationwide.
